Data Centers

Due to the electricity generated from large amounts of electronics equipment and machines, flooring systems at data centers need enhanced static control properties. APF’s StatRez™ line of systems are designed to protect areas requiring static dissipative or conductive flooring. They are more durable than ESD tile, and they do not have a dependency on relative humidity. Each system is designed to prevent electrostatic damage to products and equipment, limit the ability of personnel to build up a charge and quickly remove a charge from a person or equipment.

 

Additionally, flooring systems for this industry need to be impact, abrasion and chemical resistant, and offer improved light reflectivity. They should also be easy to clean and maintain.

StatRez PC 225 is a 3-coat aliphatic polyurethane system that features UV stability and non-yellowing properties. This system is low VOC and has excellent chemical and abrasion resistance, ideal for aircraft hangars. It is designed to impart static control properties in the static dissipative range of 1 million – 1 billion (1E6-1E9) ohms resistance when tested with ESD Association test method 7.1
