 Leane Owen joined APF in 2008 bringing with her over 10 years of experience in marketing and communications. She studied journalism and communications at Mount Ida College in Newton, MA and web/graphic design at Clark University in Worcester, MA. Her career over the last decade has been dedicated to corporate communications, branding, professional print design/web design, advertising and online marketing. After college, Leane started working as a graphic designer at an HR placement firm in Framingham, MA where she was responsible for revamping all printed marketing material and website design. After that, she joined the corporate communications department at Bayer Diagnostics where she focused on the development of printed marketing material, event invitations, interactive product demonstrations, implementing a major corporate rebranding effort, and product positioning. Her focus then shifted to web design and online marketing when she joined Verndale, a web development agency in Boston, MA, where she worked as a consultant and project manager.
When she moved from Boston to Phoenix, she started working with Terralever, a very successful online marketing agency in Tempe, AZ where she was a project manager. Her responsibilities included client consultation, account management, information architecture design and running project teams dealing with all facets of marketing and development.
Today she focuses her efforts on corporate design and branding for APF, all internal and external communication, marketing and overall business development.
